General Policy

Due to the highly technical and sensitive nature of data recovery components and equipment, we maintain a strict return and refund policy to ensure quality control, product integrity, and protection of intellectual property.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for the following items under any circumstances:

• Donor hard drives
• Opened or used PCBs
• Head replacement tools
• Head unstick tools
• Screwdrivers
• Laminar air flow units
• Clean room equipment
• Soldering tools, precision head tools, and other recovery tools
• Data recovery hardware tools
• Data recovery software tools and licenses
• Digital/downloadable content
• Training and consultancy services (online or offline)
• Custom-ordered or special-purpose items

These items are considered final sale due to potential tampering, contamination, or misuse.

Eligible Returns

Returns may be accepted only in the following cases:

• You received a defective or damaged item
• You received the wrong item (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery)
• The product was not used, installed, or altered in any way

To be eligible, you must notify us via email at support@hdddonor.in within 7 days of receiving the item. Please include:

• Order number
• Description of the issue
• Clear photos or videos of the product

Once your return request is reviewed and approved, we will provide return instructions.

Return Conditions

Approved returns must meet the following conditions:

• Item must be unused, unaltered, and in original packaging
• Must include all accessories, documentation, and packaging materials
• Return shipping must be done using a trackable method
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed

Returned items that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.

Refunds

Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected. Refunds are issued via the original payment method. You will be notified by email once the refund has been processed.

In cases where replacement is offered, no refund will be issued unless the replacement is unavailable.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled and will fall under the return policy.

Training & Services

Payments made for training sessions, technical support, or consultations are non-refundable once the service has been delivered or commenced. Rescheduling may be allowed in certain cases with prior notice.
