How do I find the correct PCB number for my hard drive?
The PCB number is usually etched directly onto the green or blue circuit board. For WD, it starts with "2060-"; for Seagate, it often starts with "100-".

No. Most modern drives require a "ROM Swap." You must move the 8-pin BIOS/ROM chip from your original board to the donor board for the drive to be recognized.
Are these donor PCBs brand new or used?
